Is this a good idea for a short story plot?

Is this a good idea for a short story plot?
The story has to be so that everything happens within 3 hours.

It’s about an outgoing confident girl who is beautiful but wears casual clothes and plain makeup, however is a head turner. It’s in the guys perspective who falls in love with her at first glance. In the beginning he’s just remembering how they met and everything, but in the 3 hours of the story they’re at a party (he has anger, and jealousy issues) and he gets pissed for her flirting with a guy, and then he yells at her in front of everyone at the party. And then he rushes out and she follows and they get in to an argument, they’re basically talking about their relationship and he just yells at her and she tries to calm him and in the end he says "I don’t care if I ever see you again" and she starts to cry and slaps him then runs off. An hour passes and he finally decides to apologize so he calls her house guessing shes there and all he hears is sobs so he’s guessing its her crying. But then it turns out that she died on the way back home in a car accident. And at the end hes full of regret and the last lines are "She died not knowing that I was sorry for my actions. She died too soon."

So, it’s basically a very emotional story about first love, regrets, jealousy, anger, and loss.
How is it? Cliche? Boring? Interesting?

Constructive criticism appreciated! :)

Well it may be cliche… but it’s actually based on a real life event that I heard about. Ideas how to make it less "cliche" ?

To me, it sounds cliche. I would only read it if it was very well-written. I’m not really a fan of teen-angst stories, despite being a teenager myself.

are relationships really like this?

i’m sixteen and never been in a relationship or kissed a guy before. i’m in no rush, because i feel i’ll find a guy i’m compatible with and won’t just want me just to have sex and use me. this one guy started talking to me tonight, and being nice and all, i started just talking back to him. he started calling me baby and asking for pictures of me in lingerie and stuff. not that i’m uncomfortable sending pictures or whatever, but to me he just wanted ***. he kept on asking if i was single, and i told him i was. i’m just wondering, i have this mental picture of how a relationship should start. like getting to know the other person and not all this excessive flirting dirty talk. i’m more of a serious girl (who can have a good time, i’m just more mellow than crazy) who enjoys deep conversations and getting to know a person more than saying "baby ur sooo hottt". do these relationships exist or is my mental idea of a relationship completely false?

no makeup, sorry i got burnt by the sun, its a bad picture.

First of all, you are very pretty. Not sure why you posted your pic but you’re not ugly for sure. You’re incredibly pretty!

This guy is one of 2 things:

1) an @’hole.
2) confused about how to attract chicks so going overboard.

Only you can work it out. Frankly, you should confront him, ask him to be 100% honest with you, if he fesses up to (2) then tell him you like him anyway and to knock it off.

If he doesn’t, lose him!
