I was dating a guy for 6 weeks not long as you can see we broke up a few days a go he told me he wasn’t ready for a relationship yet as we are only 18 and he is also going through problems we agreed to stay just friends but the thing is i want him back , so how can i win him back i dont know if it is possible

if he wants to just be friends, then that is probably what it will be. if he feels he is ready one day and still has feelings for you, then you will get him back. untill then get to know eachother better. 6 weeks isnt that long.

What do I do about my irritating ex-boyfriend?

This guy (Nick) and I went out for about 2 weeks. I went out with him basically out of pity because he kept flirting with me and asking me out and I told him I had a boyfriend and I didn’t like him but Nick and I were still friends. I had just broken up with my boyfriend (Alex) because neither one of us were supposed to date until we were 16 (we’re 14) and we agreed to wait until we were allowed to date. Me and Alex went out for a little over a year.
So Nick found out we broke up and he kept persisting. I’m really really really bad at saying no, especially in person, and it’s like I’m physically unable to hurt people’s feelings. I feel so so bad if I do and I always give in…
I stayed after school one day to do PE makeups and Nick stayed with me, but I didn’t know he’d stayed until after the buses had left. He then kissed me. I guess that’s when we started going out, which I never wanted and never planned, but it kind of just happened. Nick tried to hold my hand and kiss me again and stuff but I just felt uncomfortable and I wouldn’t let him, by telling him I don’t feel comfortable kissing in public (it was at school) and I always had my hands in my pockets. And he was too shy to ask to hold my hand. He kept asking me to stay after again but I always said my mom wouldn’t let me, but in reality I was allowed to and really needed PE makeups. I sacrificed my PE grade to not be around him…
So one day I just told him to not talk to me, ever again. And I went about being as nice as I could about it. So the next day he talks to me again anyway and about a week later I was IMing him as friends and I told him why I didn’t like him- I still was in love with Alex and I was waiting for us to be 16 to go out. And I told him I’d like him to stop trying to get me back because it wasn’t going to happen. Ever. And it wasn’t even supposed to happen in the first place and I didn’t like him, nonetheless love him. I was okay with just being friends, because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings. And I told him how he didn’t do anything wrong, I just didn’t harbour feelings for him any longer.
So he started calling me every day and we’d end up talking for like 2 or 3 hours, the whole while me saying that I had to go and stuff but he just kept keeping me on the phone. I feel so guilty when I hang up on people and I couldn’t bring myself to do it… He still IMs and texts me but one day I decided to set my status to invisible so he never knows when I’m on or not. And I started ignoring his texts and I blocked his number.
Six weeks later, I was eating with my mom and he texted me and I got mad at my phone and slammed it on the table because he texted me…. again. My mom told me to just text him back and be nice. So I decided after a month and a half of ignoring him, I’d say hi. So I started using short texts that sounded like I was mad or something and said I had to go a lot.
Like four months after I "broke up" with him in a relationship that never was, he still talks to me and calls and texts and IMs everyday. I gave up so I just kept talking to him again… out of pity but I really want him to leave me alone.
Nick asks everyday why I broke up with him and I tell him everytime, because: I LOVE ALEX!!! And he persistently flirts and makes dumb jokes about being alone and keeps telling me how much he misses me and how much he loves me and he always sends me songs about broken hearts and whatnot, to show how he feels. I told him to stop trying because I didn’t love him and I wasn’t going to go out with him ever. He still tries though…
There is a girl that likes him and has for many years and he’s friends with her but he won’t even give her a chance; he just keeps ’stalking’ me even though I keep telling him to lay off.
School is starting soon and I fear he may be in many of my classes because we both picked honours and there’s only one honours class per subject… I really just want Nick out of my life because he has become extremely annoying to me and won’t leave me alone.
Alex even talked to him on the phone one time and told him very aggressively to leave me alone as well. I don’t know what to do. I seriously can’t be mean to him; it’s just how I am. I’m unable to be mean. I tried ignoring him and I felt bad the whole entire time. That was hard for me but it’s about as mean as I can be. I can’t yell at him and I don’t swear. So I suck at being aggressive.
He’s probably gonna want a hug everytime I see him at school and I don’t know how to say no and I’ll probably mentally collapse under pressure and end up giving him a hug anyway.
He’s really nice, he’s just overly nice so it appears as irritating. I told him repeatedly to go out with the girl who liked him because I was just not interested but he still goes after me.

What can I do to nicely tell him to lay off…forever?? Something that’s not mean but will make him get the point..?

Also, I even asked my mom if I could switch schools just to avoid him. That way if I ignored him forever and never saw him again it’d be okay.

Ok, he has a girl that likes him but he doesn’t like her. So what you do is try to sway him that way.

In the end, though, you are going to have to be more assertive. I don’t like to have to be assertive, but there are many people that will take advantage of you if you are not. This is when I become a major d**k. If you want him to leave you alone, you have to develop that.

Call him up when you are p*$$ed off and tell him,
"Look, do me a favor, leave me the f**k alone. I am getting pissed every time you call me. Stop calling!"

If this doesn’t work then tell him, "How pathetic are you? I tried being nice about it, and you took advantage of me not being straight forward, I tried being mean about it, and you still won’t stop, I will get a court order against you if you harass me again."

Just go in levels of increasing assertiveness because you should not have to live like that.

My best friend doesn’t want to talk to me, how do I fix this?

She and I have grown a pretty close relationship this past year, where we attended nearly the same classes and shared the same summer activities.
The last year and this current year, until just now, we spent all nights and days talking on the phone, and I feel we’ve been great supports for each other, and we make each other happy a lot.

Though with all of that, I was sad to hear her once say that she wished she was closer to another friend of hers more because she could not talk to me about makeup, as I was absolutely clueless on that topic. I knew that too, though I was kind of sad to hear it, but I knew that whenever we went out on outings, she and I for a long period of time would have nothing to say to each other until we got to where we were going. I think this might be because we see each other every day now, so maybe we’ve exhausted all possible conversation material, plus there are no problems in our own lives, except this one troubling me right now.

I know she has had much better friends than I in the past, and sometimes I wonder why she still is friends with a slow person like me. I’m not sure if I was able to make her as happy, or was able to help her as much as she has helped me.
Sometimes I feel the same way about how I cannot always talk to her about the things that I like, that I would usually talk about with my other friends (though they feel a bit distant now)

I don’t often call my best friend, and she has to end up calling me, which I assume causes her to think that I think less of her if she has to be the one that wants to talk to me, and I can see that would hurt her feelings, but I don’t think that way. I never had a friend who I was so close to before, and sometimes I am not sure of what to talk about since we see each other everyday so often. She has confronted me about this several times and she says that she doesn’t like that I don’t call her. I tell her I’m sorry, but she knows I don’t change.

I deserve her being mad at me.

I tried calling her today, since she was initially mad about this yesterday, and she just hung up on me. I called her back asking her why she did that, and she said she didn’t want to talk to me.

And now, I’ve just left it at that. It’s still the same day, so I think I have time to do something about it, but I don’t know what to do.

It’s definitely hard to be friends with someone you have very little in common with, especially if you see each other everyday since you don’t have much in common with her. I think that you should probably start ringing her more often and trying harder with the conversation because it seems clear that she means a lot to you and you’re glad that you have her as a friend and you don’t want to lose her but you have to let her know that. One of the reasons she may have stopped talking to you is because you don’t call her and she thinks that it’s only her that is putting in the effort and she might think that maybe you don’t want to be friends and that might have hurt her and made her angry at you and know she doesn’t want to talk to you. Keep making an effort to communicat with her, keep phoning her, text her, email her, IM her and if show up at her house a few times so that she has to speak to you. Tell her that you’re sorry and that you still want to be her friend and tell her that her friendship has helped you a lot. Also, you’ve said that she is in to make up but can’t talk to you because you’re not, well to keep the conversation going why don’t you get her to teach you stuff about make up you could host a sleepover and she could bring her makeup kit over and make you up, show you how to apply make up and teach you what different things do and what you use them for and you could do the same for her with something you’re into. If you feel stuck for conversation with her why don’t you try and find out more about her because there is probably quite a lot that you don’t know about her just choose questions to ask about things you don’t really know about her just go over some questions in your head and answer the ones you do know then save the ones you don’t know to ask her hopefully you will find out more about her and start some more conversations. Another thing you could do is just comment like if you’ll are hanging out just like look and see something and just make a general comment about it and hopefully she will reply. Anyway…good luck

How do I tell my best freind I’m in love with him without ruining anything?

We’ve been close since grade 10 until the end of highschool. When we first met in grade 7, we hated eachother. We almost have a brother/ sister relationship that’s so special, that I’d hate to see gone or broken in any form. It’s the little things he does, and the stuff that he knows I like and dislike. We can talk about the most stupidest things and keep eachother entertained. Sure we fight, but it’s the fighting of siblings where after we just makeup because we love eachother and it doesnt last long. I dont know if I like him in a deeper way, or not. If I do, would I be ruining the special relationship we have now, or would it be better to move deeper?
Perhaps i’m nervous to move deeper because what if it wasnt worth it, and what we had as a bro/sis relationship was better and after we cant get back to that anymore?

I think you both feel something for eachother, i dont know a lot of guys who spend as much time together as you do (unless their gay), i would wait a while to see if your feelings get any deeper. When you get to the point where you cant stand not telling him how you feel, then tell him.

Today I have Come to realize my Spouse is Emotionally abusive help:(?

Me and my spouse are both in are early 20’s. I am 39 weeks pregnant with my third child. The first child is from a past relationship but two of the children are my spoouses. I come to notice today that i may in be a relationship that has always been or that is beginning to be emotional abuse as my spouse has been blowing up at me frequently weekend after weekend out of no where with lots to say and putting me down. What to do when you feel you are emotionally abused?
Things he has said : im hairy, im lazy, im a bumb and just sit on my ass and expect to have everything paid for, why do i even put on makeup who’s gonna look at me, today at 39 weeks pregnant he says for me to get off my fat ass, he says very negative things about my family, my mom is in a relationship with a black man and he says for me to go get a black guy. i dunno thats just alittle bit of things. But what do you think . He said all this today and i need to be strong as this is hard for me because i have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and due for my third child this week. I do not feel that i am any of those things he has said to me cause i am smarter then that and know how much of a good mother i am and hard working mother.
My feelings for my spouse have really changed as i feel anger towards him and the hurtful things he has been saying and feels about me.
I have not really told anyone about what has been going on because i dont really know anyone close enough to trust and respect my personal problems with my spouse.
After he put me down all day he left with my two children for the day and came back like everything is ok. People say things when they get upset he says no big deal.

Leave that LOSER!!! NOW!

Breakup, makeup?

i just recently broke up with this guy (for now lets call him John). After the break up another guy comes along (for now lets call him Dylan) Dylan says he really likes me, and I found out that I liked him too. He wants to go out with me but then I said no, because I just got off this relationship and school’s almost ending. Summer’s coming along and there’s nothing we can do. Later on, after the break up me and John are really good friends now. We message each other and talk to each other a lot now. I’m starting to have feelings for him again. What should I do! Should I just see how it goes with both of them, talk to both of them more. Or stick to one and see how it goes. Because every time I think of having a relationship with John again, it makes me ache. In a bad way, cause he was being way to clingy before. What should I do? HELP!

I think that you need to have time for yourself… Your emotions are all over the place to the point that you dont know what you want. i think you need to take some time to yourself to find out what you really want. The new guy could be just a rebound and the feelings that you are starting to have for your ex is probably just your mind playing tricks or maybe it could that you really like him and you were not ready to let go… i think you just need some space to think

How do I know if I am in an abusive relationship?

I have been told by family members, friends, and even strangers that I may be in an abusive relationship. The thing is, I don’t really get physically hit. So, I am not sure if I am in such a relationship. The reasons I question if I am in an abusive relationship are the following:

-He likes to make fun of me in private and in front of people that really hurts my feelings and he just doesn’t stop even though I ask him to.
-He likes to call me "stupid", "jerk" and other not so PG words in a manner in which he acts as if he is kidding, but it hurts.
-He is constantly controlling my time and what I do with it. He makes sure he knows exactly who I am texting, emailing, talking to at all times and if he calls me and cannot get a hold of me- he gets very angry.
-He tries to get me to slap him often and I refuse. He will then playfully slap my face very lightly but somehow still feels mean to me.
-If he says something rude or hurtful to me and I express any sorrow he tells me over and over again that I am just being overly sensitive.
-He makes comment about what I eat and how much even though I’ve lost a good amount of weight.
-He gets very angry if I wear or don’t wear certain things, if I put makeup on, if I do my hair a certain way.
-He controls where my money goes at all times and has even suggested I buy lower quality food or less food to help my bills while he eats whatever he wants no matter how much it costs (we live together.)
-He gets angry at me if I have an opinion opposite of his own.
-If he does something mean to me, he keeps twisting what happened until I am the one apologizing instead of him.
-He gets me to participate in sexual activities I am not comfortable with.

Are these signs of an abusive relationship?
Forgot to add, he can be really mean in all the ways I listed, but the next day can be the sweetest most romantic guy ever. Which leaves me confused.
